Mantle Reach Power is seeking a Vice President, Controller & Finance.

Mantle Reach Power is an independent power producer that develops, owns, and operates geothermal power projects across North America. What You’ll Do

• Build out and take ownership of all traditional finance functions, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, FP&A, and reporting
• Ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes for all corporate entities, partnerships, and financings
• Lead the design and establishment of the quarterly and annual budgeting process, as well as regular budget-to-actuals reporting and treasury forecasting mechanisms
• Establish, maintain, and audit internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data, and oversee annual audits
• Oversee tax planning and compliance across all operating jurisdictions
• Oversee the company’s insurance program and coverage
• Support project finance activities including draw requests, lender reporting, and cost tracking for drilling campaigns and power plant construction
• Support the broader team on a variety of M&A and financial transactions
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks across the organization
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial systems, ERPs, and BI tools to automate processes and scale the finance function with business growth
• Build scalable accounts payable, purchase order, and future accounts receivable processes
• Manage and oversee outsourced accounting and financial services partners

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for renewables exposure including partnership and tax equity accounting (HLBV / equity method)
• Bachelor’s degree required in finance, accounting or a related business field; CPA or CFA designation required
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Proficiency with MS Office/related applications
